Computational Thinking and Modeling
Much of this content was developed due to participation in a Shodor Workshop. The Negative Feedback, Moth, Guppy, and Bug Hunt Camouflage lessons were a collaborative effort with Angie Veneziale. Ralph Polley also created the AgentSheets Homeostasis Model.
An important component of science and mathematic education is understanding and working with computer models. in this class we will work with models which have already been created to make predictions and analyze what we see. We will also create simple models with Excel, Vensim, AgentSheets, and Netlogo.
